Firefox se bloque et fouille mon disque dur

Bonjour,

Depuis quelques temps, probablement depuis ma mise-à-jour vers le SP1 de windows 7, firefox fouille (environ 1 fois par jour) le dossier suivant :

C:\Windows\System32\catroot\{F750E6C3-38EE-11D1-85E5-00C04FC295EE}

Ça dure 10~20 secondes et, pendant ce temps, la fenêtre firefox freeze puis disparait (il reste néanmoins dans la barre des tâches), le curseur de souris se met en attente, le disque dur gratte comme un malade et je ne peut pas utiliser mon ordinateur. Puis le disque dur se calme et firefox réapparait, je reprends la main.

J'ai utilisé Procmon pour surveiller les accès disques pendant ce bug et il me donne des milliers de lignes de ce genre :

Ce répertoire semble être là où Windows stocke les signatures de ses fichiers ~~système~~ [edit: fichiers de mise-à-jour de windows update], afin de ~~rétablir les fichiers système si un programme externe les modifie~~ [edit: afin de gérer les mise-à-jour]. Je vois pas pourquoi firefox irait lire là-dedans.
J'ai fait un scan malwarebyte antimalware, ccleaner, et microsoft security essentials : rien.

Mes questions :
Pourquoi firefox lit-il (écrit-il) dans ce répertoire ?
Pourquoi firefox s'accapare-t'il toutes les ressources de mon pc jusqu'à le bloquer quelques secondes ?
Comment arrêter ça ?

Même problème en mode sans échec.
J'ai fait un scan avec chacun des utilitaires que tu m'as donné, microsoft safety scanner, tdsskiller, superantispyware : toujours rien.

Par contre grâce à procmon.exe j'ai remarqué que juste avant de planter, firefox va lire le fichier C:\Windows\System32\atmfd.dll (atmfd=Adobe Type Manager Font Driver), à chaque fois.
C'est un fichier système de windows qui sert à gérer les fonts apparemment.
Peut-être que certains sites utilisent une police de caractère qui fait bugger firefox.
Quels outils puis-je utiliser pour creuser de ce côté ?
Je sais plus trop quoi faire là en fait.

Bon, j'avance dans mon enquête.

J'ai remarqué que le problème n'arrive que sur les sites utilisant disqus (un système de commentaires externalisé) et une seule fois par session windows, obligé de rebooter pour reproduire le bug.
Et je ne suis pas le seul dans ce cas : http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... &t=2630651
Et apparemment le problème est le même sur google chrome, tapez disqus freezes dans google on voit que bcp de monde est concerné.
Mais je sais toujours pas comment avancer...

Bonjour,

J'ai déjà eu des problèmes avec Disqus sur au moins un site. Il semble que certains filtres Adblock Plus ou Ghostery ou que NoScript soient en cause avec Firefox.

Comme tu as le même problème en mode sans échec de Firefox, il faut voir au niveau de la configuration de tes logiciels de sécurité et/ou anti-pub.

Toujours ce bug...
J'ai fait un scan de mes fichiers système avec l'outil System File Checker de Windows :
sfc /scannow
Il m'a réparé quelques fichiers mais ça ne résout pas mon problème.

J'avais la mise-à-jour vers IE10 qui était bloquée dans Windows Update, elle ne l'est plus, c'est tout ce que ça a fait.
En faisant d'autres recherches, j'ai vu que le répertoire C:\Windows\System32\catroot\ est un répertoire qui stocke les signatures de fichiers de mise-à-jour de Windows Update. J'imagine qu'il y a un bug déclenché par quelque chose dans disqus qui lui fait fouiller ce répertoire pendant des plombes et ça monopolise le pc d'où blocage de firefox.

Donc tout ça est lié je sais pas trop comment, je comprends pas.

Et maintenant je remarque que firefox se bloque sur un site avec disqus, en chargeant 472 polices du répertoire C:\Windows\Fonts\

Ca prend environ 15 secondes pendant lesquelles je peux rien faire.

Pourquoi charger tout ça d'un seul coup ??

Au cas où… Avais-tu utilisé aussi AdwCleaner et Malwarebytes Anti-Malware ?

Sinon, j'avoue ne pas avoir d'idée sur l'origine de ton problème. À mon avis, il faudrait demander sur un forum spécialisé Windows, ou même sur un forum spécialisé en décontamination (Malekal.com, Zebulon.fr ou Libellule.ch).

Même si un malware n'est pas la cause de tes difficultés, ils disposent d'outils d'analyse puissants capables de déterminer des causes de dysfonctionnements d'origine divers.

Salut Zigotibus, j'ai été obligé de formater et réinstaller Windows pour d'autres raisons. Et le problème ne réapparait pas.
Donc je me suis débarrassé de ce bug sans le résoudre en fait.
Mais vu que ce bug existe aussi sur Google Chrome, je te conseille de suivre leur fil de discussion ils ont l'ai plus nombreux dessus.
Ca doit pas être un bug spécifique à Firefox, plutôt un bug de Windows ou du pilote de police Adobe Type Manager je dirais. Bon courage !
