Portable Thunderbird (sur clé USB)

Je fais part de l'échange de mail avec John Haller qui met au point notamment Portable ThunderBird ( http://johnhaller.com/jh/mozilla/) .
Si quelqu'un avait les compétences techniques (que je n'ai pas) pour lui donner un coup de pouce, ce serait vraiment bien.

This is mainly a happy new year message!
And also a message for encouraging you to continue the developpment of Portable Thunderbird.
I'm often visiting the page http://portablethunderbird.mozdev.org/ ...and waiting.
For the moment I'm using (with some problems) portable Thunderbird 0.9 in french. I read some messages about difficulties to install the 1.0 version so I'm waiting before installing it.
Keep going... Portability is the main reason why I quit Outlook. I'm sure that many people are interested in this feature.

It's one of those "it'll be done when I get to it" things. I'm the only one working on Portable Thunderbird, Firefox and Sunbird. Despite numerous requests, I've had no offers of assistance. I have one person creating his own launcher who has helped quite a bit through his own work, but as for the portable packages, it's just me.

That said, I was able to automate creation of the packages for the most part, so I am far closer to getting localizations done.

Just to clarify... I actually have a couple of translation offers. I need coder(s). And I don't really even need the tranlators to get an initial release done. I just need time. Lots more time...

Il est temps de ressortir ce sujet pour 2006 (en souhaitant une bonne annee)!!!

J utilise la version portable de thunderbird de John Haller (Portable ThunderBird http://johnhaller.com/jh/mozilla/) .

Si je telecharge TB 1.5 et l install comme indique sur le wiki ( http://www.geckozone.org/wiki/wakka.php?wiki=TbCleUSB ) est ce toujours d actualite?

J ai tous mes mails sur le clef et je nai pas envie de tout perdre!

J'ai toujours attendu que John Haller fasse la mise à jour de son exécutif.
A mon avis cela ne devrait pas tarder
